We’re a team of Auburn-based technicians who know our clients by name and take pride in keeping their businesses running.

Mike founded Extra Mile Tech in 2013, leading the company’s growth with a focus on reliability and long-term relationships.

Jamie came on board in 2014, managing the company’s finances and overseeing HR to keep both the business and team running smoothly.

Tom joined us in 2021, bringing steady technical support to clients and strengthening the team’s day-to-day operations.

MJ came on board in 2023, adding to our technician team and helping ensure clients get consistent, reliable service.

Naomi joined Extra Mile Tech in 2025, keeping the office organized and ensuring smooth communication across the team.

Jacob joined as an intern in 2025, contributing to the team & customer support while building hands-on IT experience.

Gavin works in the office occasionally, starting in 2025. He supports the team as an intern while learning the ropes of IT and customer service.

Our Story: From A One-Man-Shop To Auburn's IT Leader
Extra Mile Tech started with a simple goal: give local businesses IT support they can rely on. From our early days to today’s multi-technician team, we’ve grown by putting relationships and responsiveness first.
Mike launched Extra Mile Tech as a solo operation, helping local Auburn businesses with quick, dependable IT support. From day one, the focus was simple: pick up the phone, solve problems fast, and explain technology in straightforward terms.

By 2019, Extra Mile had outgrown its early offices and moved into a larger space in downtown Auburn. The new location gave the team room for a build lab, better client support infrastructure, and a visible footprint right in the heart of the community.

When the shutdown hit, we moved fast—setting up remote access, delivering hardware, and onboarding Zoom for clients who had never worked from home before. During this time, we closed more remote work tickets in two weeks than we had in the business's entire history.

Today, the team is known for answering nearly every call live, showing up on-site the same day when needed, and delivering end-to-end IT with a responsive, caring touch. What started as one-man-team in 2013 has become the go-to partner for local businesses that need IT services they can count on.
